How does it work?

Book a slot. Come in with your bike where we will set you up on our turbo. Don’t worry if you do not have a power meter as the test can also be done on our Wattbike. If you would prefer to use the Wattbike you will still need to bring your current bike so we can set you up in the correct position. We recommend that you use your race set up/position as this is ultimately what you want to improve. Before we start we will ask you a number of questions to learn more about you. Your future goals, performance history, flexibility, injury history etc.

We will also ‘eyeball’ your position on the bike and offer suggestions if we think they will help your overall performance/comfort.

How long will it take?

The test itself will take 1hr 15 minutes of which 25 minutes is in the hurt locker. Please allow 90 minutes for the whole test.

Kit to bring:

Bike, bike shoes, suitable clothing, towel, drink, heart rate sensor and power meter if you have it.

Before you leave we will give you a print out of your test, this will contain your power and heart rate zones. Plus all the information on where best to spend your time training for your particular event.
