Sports Massage at Tri-1st
Tri 1st is pleased to welcome Jason Allen (aka Judo Jase) to our treatment room on Fridays and Saturdays.
Jason specialises in training, treatment and rehabilitation of active people from various backgrounds. He qualified as a massage therapist in 1997. In his own view, a natural progression from his sporting background, Judo, where we successfully competed for Great Britain and Wales on a World, European, Commonwealth and national level. Why is this relevant?
During his time within the sport of Judo, which spans nearly 44 years, he picked up many injuries and set backs. From numerous dislocations and breaks to ACL and biceps reconstructions, he found a way to successfully rehabilitate himself through focused massage, strengthening and conditioning work. His own experience of competing, training and rehabilitating at such a high level gave him invaluable knowledge, insight and the tools to help rehabilitate other athletes and help them maximize their full potential. He has worked with elite level athletes who have excelled within their sports and gone to represent at world level. He is currently working with a number of athletes with Olympic aspirations but he also sees a number of generally active people who come to see him with various muscular problems.
